Support Engineer

Job Description

- Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature
- Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel
- Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in software
- Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to engineering
- May be involved in customer installation and training

Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum Experience of 6-8 yrs supporting customers
- Should be a self starter and someone who can influence others
- Knowledge of Networking, TCP/IP, Windows/Linux
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge on Tech Support processes
- Background on On-premise appliance support is a plus.
